Pada materi sebelumnya kita telah banyak membahas mengenai text dalam bahasa inggris, sahabat SBI juga pasti masih ingat bukan ada berapa text dalam bahasa inggris? Yaps! ada sekitar 13 text dalam bahasa inggris seperti descriptive text, narrative text, recount text, juga discussion text dan lain sebagainya.

Nah, materi kali ini kita aka membahas mengenai contoh dari discussion text dalam bahasa inggris. Eitsss…. tapi sahabat SBI masih ingat kan apa yang dimaksud dengan discussion text? well, discussion text merupakan sebuah text dalam bahasa inggris yang mengangkat tema akan suatu hal atau peristiwa dengan memandang dari dua sisi contain text tersebut yaitu pro dan kontra juga manfaat atau ketidakmanfaatanya.

Pada contoh discussion text ini, admin ingin mengangkat tema mengenai penerapan atau penggunaan dari seragam sekolah dalam suatu instansi pendidikan. Kira-kira gimana nih sahabat SBI jika kita melihat dari pro dan kontra nya? Yuk langsung aja kita simak ya 🙂

PRO

Professional:
Some say that a child is in school uniform are more likely to take school seriously. Wearing a school uniform signals he would like school clothes dad to go to work. The school reported that when students dress in “work clothes” rather than “play clothes“ they are taking a more serious approach to their studies.
Promoting Good Discipline:
Many think that school uniforms help to maintain the discipline of the school, decreasing the number of disciplinary problems. The argument is that children today are less self-discipline because parents refuse to discipline them. This makes it harder on the teachers who have to deal with grade 25-30 at a time.
Reduce the Fighting and violence:
The school reported that a decline in school uniform and battle violence that arrise from the arguments above fashionable clothes. Always tease their kids that don’t have the trendy clothes. Those who cannot afford to buy branded clothes are often sensitive about their clothes. The school struggled with the problem of gangs reported that school uniform helps relieve tension.

CONS

Disorders:
Many parents believe that students wear the school uniform looks nicer and that school uniform policy to ensure that children will come to school in appropriate clothing, avoid distractions such as fashion is considered weird or too revealing. Some students had turned the school into the endless fashion show. This disctracts of learning, because some kids spend more time focused on their clothes than homework.
Value:

Low cost:
School uniform is a bargain. They become a lot cheaper than many other clothing. The school argued that the school uniform that is economical, especially compared to a fashion designer, and parents agree that given the resilience of the school uniform. Little or no Academic Relations:
Opponents insist that they are not credible evidence that school uniforms increase school discipline or promote higher academic achievement. The main argument is that most students are terrible dresser. The dress does not always enhance learning.
